Electrical Engineer in Heavy Industrial/Nuclear, Pickering

Join our team as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in Mississauga or Pickering, ON. This role focuses on low to medium-voltage systems and their high-voltage interfaces, with hands-on involvement in project design and construction support.

In this position, you will manage electrical engineering projects spanning conceptual to detailed phases. Key responsibilities include designing power systems, conducting Load Flow and Short Circuit studies, and ensuring compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). You will work with multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients, regulatory bodies, and vendors to support project goals.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform design for power systems up to 24 kV • Develop electrical protection and distribution designs • Conduct power system studies, including Arc Flash analysis • Collaborate with teams on greenfield and brownfield projects • Review technical specifications and vendor drawings

Requirements:• P.Eng. license in Ontario (or pursuing) • 4-8 years in electrical engineering experience • Knowledge of CEC, CSA, IEEE standards • Familiarity with ETAP software preferred • Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction
