Opportunity
TCEnergy is seeking a Supply Chain Contract Analyst to join our growing team in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Business Unit partners to develop effective sourcing strategies, support award recommendations, and lead the formation, negotiation, and administration of contracts. You will manage sourcing events, oversee supplier performance, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while applying best practices to drive value across the organization.Responsibilities
Develop and negotiate contract commercial terms aligned with Business Unit drivers and TCEnergy standards. Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including amendments, change orders, and supplier performance monitoring. Lead and coordinate proposal analyses and commercial evaluations with Business Units and stakeholders.Issue and manage secondary sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) through SAP/Ariba. Facilitate a cross‑functional team model during negotiation, formation, and administration of contracts. Document and communicate recommendations for contract award to senior management, including commercial and technical rationale.Utilize various costing models and contract commercial types (e.g., lump sum, time&materials, cost‑reimbursable). Collaborate with SC Category Management to leverage category execution strategies and existing supplier relationships. Maintain contract records in SAP and the Ariba Contract Management System, ensuring compliance requirements are consistently met. Collect, analyze, and interpret market intelligence to inform strategies.Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders at various levels of leadership. Conduct supplier performance management activities and hold periodic business reviews. Develop, implement, and sustain performance improvement plans for suppliers. Facilitate supplier qualifications per the TCEnergy supplier qualification process and manage existing suppliers’ qualification requirements.Travel to conduct site visits when required. Minimum Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Legal or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Project Management or Engineering. Preferred Qualifications
Direct supply chain experience with operating power generation assets in Canada (thermal, wind, solar, etc.). Experience with SAP, Ariba, PowerBI, Aravo and SharePoint. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; able to distill concepts concisely.Project management skills, including stakeholder, schedule, cost and meeting management. Aptitude and curiosity for technical topics relevant to sourcing. Work Model
