Customer Service Representative at Calgary Zoo

Become a part of the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo team as a Concessions Customer Service Representative. This seasonal position focuses on providing exceptional service while operating food outlets in a unique outdoor setting.

The Calgary Zoo is looking for collaborative individuals to join its Concessions Department. You will engage with visitors, process transactions, manage food service, and maintain cleanliness at concession outlets. This role offers the chance to work outdoors while supporting wildlife conservation efforts and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities:• Operate cash registers and manage cash handling • Clean and maintain restaurant areas and equipment • Provide exceptional customer service to guests • Support food preparation and cooking on demand • Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:• Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • ProServe certification preferred • Comfortable in outdoor working conditions • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends
