Customer Accounts Manager– Interim/Leave-Driven Posted Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 4:00 AM | Expires Monday, June 29, 2026 at 3:59 AM
This assignment is temporary and provides coverage while the incumbent Customer Accounts Manager serves as interim General Manager during a protected medical or long-term disability leave. No promise of continued or permanent employment.
Responsibilities
Attain and maintain customers’ accounts, including updating customer information in the store computer system and documenting all payment appointments.
Assist the General Manager with operational functions such as account recommendations, payment frequency, and payment history monitoring.
Act as second to the General Manager.
Build authentic customer relationships that support ownership goals and drive sales.
Manage the collections process by counseling customers to achieve timely lease/merchandise renewals.
Review and close lease agreements, including confirming customer identification, collecting money, and securing customer signatures.
Contact customers who have not renewed merchandise agreements.
Maintain customer contact via phone and home visits.
Update customer information and maintain accuracy.
Manage the entire accounts staff to achieve daily, weekly and monthly department goals.
Clean and certify merchandise in the cleaning station for all personally returned merchandise.
Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily.
Load, secure, protect product in company vehicle and safely operate the vehicle.
Assist the Sales Team as needed.
Perform any other reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
At least 21 years old (United States) with a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR; at least 18 years old (Canada).
Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States).
Ability to work a schedule of hours ranging from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without help and up to 300 lbs with the assistance of a dolly.
Two years of college or two years of previous management experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High energy with the ability to effectively perform all store functions and multitask.
