Senior Electrical Engineer - Utility Projects, Calgary

We are looking for a Senior Oversight Electrical Engineer with considerable expertise. This role will oversee engineering and design for energy projects across the USA and Canada. You will be responsible for reviewing contractor engineering deliverables, managing project requirements, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead EPC contractor engineering reviews for compliance • Provide feedback and suggest design enhancements • Evaluate high-voltage substation and renewable designs • Ensure integration of MV and HV equipment • Verify adherence to IEEE, UL, and other standards

Requirements:• 10–15 years in electrical engineering design • 5 years in oil&gas and 3 years in renewables• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering • P.Eng. designation or eligibility • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
