Electrical Site Inspector (Full Time)

Travel throughout Western Canada to visually inspect electrical building systems in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional buildings industry. Analyze, diagnose, commission, and provide recommendations for electrical equipment. Service/maintain/repair lighting systems. Read and interpret product specifications and experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs.Conduct and attend site visits including but not limited to site verifications, inspections, and meetings. Apply and adhere to national and provincial building codes across Canada. Provide technical support as requested. The ability to complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and must have a vehicle. 309A license with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. A valid 442A license is considered an asset. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and their operations. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as the Canadian Electrical Code, the Canadian National Building Code (NBC), etc.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, detail oriented and problem‑solving skills. The ability to be flexible with regards to work location and work schedule is a must, including the ability to travel away from home.Position Details
Type: Full‑time Location: Calgary, Alberta Purpose: Existing Vacancy Eligibility: Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. Compensation Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum. This compensation represents INVIRO’s current anticipated range for this position. Actual compensation offered may vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills.Each qualified applicant will receive consideration for employment without being subject to discrimination based on any characteristics protected by law.
