We are currently seeking an experienced

Asset Management Analyst

for an exciting contract opportunity with a leading enterprise organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in

Software Asset Management (SAM) ,

ServiceNow SAM Pro , license compliance, and software cost optimization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full software asset lifecycle, ensuring licensing compliance, improving data integrity, supporting audits, and driving strategic recommendations that reduce risk and maximize software investment value.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize the end-to-end software asset lifecycle across the organization

Administer and enhance

ServiceNow SAM Pro

processes and capabilities

Monitor software entitlements, usage, renewals, and reclamation opportunities

Ensure software license compliance across multiple vendors and licensing models

Support internal and external software audits with accurate reporting and documentation

Analyze asset data across multiple systems to improve visibility and decision-making

Identify cost-saving opportunities through optimization, rationalization, and usage analysis

Collaborate with IT, procurement, security, and business stakeholders

Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics for leadership review

Recommend process improvements and best practices in software asset governance

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in

Software Asset Management

or IT Asset Management roles

Hands-on experience with

ServiceNow SAM Pro

Strong understanding of software licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, etc.)

Experience with software compliance audits and true-up processes

Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasetsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment

Nice to Have

ITIL certification

Experience integrating asset data from multiple enterprise systems

Experience with IT procurement or vendor management
