Hotel/Lodge Manager (Northern SK Mine Site) Employer: Athabasca Catering Limited Partnership

Position: Full-time, Permanent; Experience: 3‑5 years; Employment Terms: Full-time; Length: Permanent

This role oversees all support services on site, including front desk, food service, janitorial and housekeeping at remote northern mine locations. The manager is responsible for organisational and client service management, ensuring operations comply with client contracts and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Ensure site operations follow client contracts and meet client obligations.

Ensure compliance with federal, provincial laws, OH&S regulation, and union agreements where applicable.

Monitor department budgets and maintain them within monthly expectations.

Maintain adequate staffing levels within budgetary constraints.

Review department work schedules and flight manifests to guarantee coverage.

Carry out discipline consistent with company policy.

Approve timesheets submitted to head office.

Accountable for safety functions at site in line with company policies.

Qualifications

Strong background in management within the service industry.

Approachable, down‑to‑earth professional with strong interpersonal skills.

Established and maintained effective working relationships.

Current Safe Food Handling certificate is an asset.

Knowledge of Occupational Health&Safety practices.

Ability to develop, analyse and interpret financial data; manage budgets and programmes.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Excellent time‑management skills.

Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a safe driving record.

Must pass a drug and alcohol test.

Regular air travel required.
