We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Palliser as our new Concierge Supervisor and inspire and create the grandest experience for our guests, clients, and colleagues every day. As Fairmont Palliser’s Concierge Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering personalized, luxury service to our esteemed guests. Your primary responsibility will be to anticipate and fulfill guest needs, providing expert recommendations, seamless arrangements, and unparalleled hospitality to enhance theirstay. As a key ambassador of the hotel, you will serve as the primary connection between guests and the vibrant city of Calgary, ensuring that every interaction reflects the elegance and excellence of Fairmont Palliser.Key Responsibilities
Serve as a visible and approachable lobby presence, providing exceptional guest service and acting as the primary liaison between Fairmont Palliser, its guests, and the city of Calgary. Provide expert recommendations for dining, shopping, entertainment, cultural experiences, and local attractions, ensuring each suggestion is tailored to individual guest preferences.Coordinate bookings and reservations for restaurants, tours, events, and activities, managing logistics to ensure seamless execution. Maintain an extensive knowledge base of Calgary’s attractions, events, and hospitality offerings to enhance guest experiences. Handle guest inquiries and requests with efficiency, ensuring prompt resolution and exceeding expectations.Arrange transportation services, including private transportation bookings, taxis, and rental vehicles, ensuring prompt and reliable service. Leverage hotel technology to log guest preferences, coordinate services, and track special requests through phone, email, and text communication. Cater to VIP guests, demonstrating discretion and professionalism while curating personalized services to meet their specialized needs.Foster strong relationships with local businesses, vendors, and service providers, ensuring preferred access and exclusive experiences for hotel guests. Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally, implementing swift solutions to maintain guest satisfaction and loyalty. Uphold the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in all guest and colleague interactions.Ensure compliance with Fairmont Hotels&Accor policies, including health, safety, and ethical standards, to maintain a secure and professional work environment. Qualifications
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Previous experience in a concierge or luxury hospitality role is preferred. Experience with hospitality software (Property Management Systems, etc.) is an asset. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to thrive in high‑pressure environments, maintaining poise and professionalism in fast‑paced situations.Passion for delivering outstanding service, consistently exceeding guest expectations. Comprehensive knowledge of Calgary’s attractions, dining, and entertainment landscape. Strong technological proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
