Your main responsibilities As an Portfolio Sales Professional - Existing Installations at Schindler, you will cultivate relationships with customers to drive sales for elevator and escalator maintenance services. You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, as well as identify and pursue sales opportunities, manage existing and new customer accounts, and retain customers. You will build strong, long-term relationships and leveraging industry knowledge to achieve sales targets.
Customer Account Management: Build and manage favorable client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements. Handle customer commercial inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation. Meet regularly with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions to meet the needs of their property. Manage and oversee the accounts receivable of your assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Drive portfolio growth (Conversions, Protection, Recoveries, Price Adjustments, Schindler Ahead) while ensuring compliance with sales policies.
Lead individual sales performance through consistent achievement of KPIs, maintaining a high level of accountability, and delivering exceptional customer experiences that support long-term client relationships and business growth.
Support and administer Sales priorities, processes, and product/service promotion to maximize portfolio performance
Communication: Communicate effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives.
Collaboration: Partner daily with the Field Superintendent (Service Leader) and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience from initiation through delivery.
Sales&Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue sales opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information. Qualify customer needs to secure profitable solutions leveraging company products and services. Introduce new technology and associated services to customers, clearly illustrate the value that these products and services offer customers.
Negotiation&Strategy: Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while also delivering on customer requirements. Develop and implement sales strategies that align with internal product strategies and competitive market conditions with minimal supervision.
Documentation&Compliance: Prepare estimates and communicate proposals with customers. Maintain accurate customer records and files in accordance with company procedures. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
What you bring
Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Business or Engineering
3 - 5 years in elevator industry or related experience, or a similar industry which includes the sales, servicing, and installation of capital equipment
Proficient in MS Suites (Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Communication: Communicate clearly and articulately
Customer Service: Demonstrate customer focus through improving performance Demonstrate commitment to customer service through improving customer satisfaction
Negotiation: Ability to negotiate both persuasively and effectively in a tactful manner so as to gain customers’ acceptance
Persuasion: Motivate customers to act or react in a manner to support business growth
Presentation: Ability to present materials clearly and engage audience
Problem Solving: ability to fully understand the problem, assess responsibility, explore alternatives, develop creative solutions and negotiate settlements
Teamwork&Managing Stakeholders: Ability to interact with all levels and be an integral part of the operation while managing expectations
