As a Medevac Captain, you will be tasked with ensuring every flight meets strict safety guidelines while providing comfort to patients. You will report to the Chief Pilot and work alongside a team to perform critical medical transfers. Being adept at handling dynamic flight conditions and effective communication is essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:• Operate flights within Canadian aviation regulations • Complete thorough preflight preparations and documentation • Conduct aircraft inspections prior to flight • Secure and assist patients on board • Work closely with medical staff during transfers
Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent education • Minimum 1500 flight hours, including 500 PIC • Hold ATPL for Medevac operations • Fluent English communication skills • Valid medical, pilot license, and security clearances
