Senior Controls Designer with AutoCAD Expertise, Windsor

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a Senior Controls Designer in Windsor, Ontario to lead the design of electrical and pneumatic systems using AutoCAD Electrical. Be part of a dynamic automation engineering team.

This full-time role focuses on hands-on designing and developing electrical schematics while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with mechanical designers and production teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions efficiently. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in controls design with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.

Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical • Support automation and drive system projects • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes • Collaborate closely with mechanical designers and engineers • Assist in system integration with safety and IT interfaces

Requirements:• 5+ years of hands-on Controls Design experience • 3–5 years using AutoCAD Electrical • Strong independent design skills for electrical systems • Technical diploma or degree in a related field • Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider systems
