Lead Tech in Medical Laboratory, Windsor

Become a Lead Tech in our medical laboratory, where you'll perform essential lab tests accurately and efficiently. Engage with patients through venipunctures while ensuring quality assurance.

This role as Lead Medical Technologist requires you to execute lab tests as ordered by healthcare providers, ensuring reliability for both Inpatients and Outpatients. Your expertise, ideally backed by ASCP registration, will contribute significantly to our laboratory's success. Previous Medical Technology experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform scheduled lab tests with precision • Conduct venipunctures and capillary draws on patients • Uphold quality assurance through regular checks • Maintain laboratory equipment and perform maintenance • Foster collaboration with providers for optimal care

Requirements:• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology • Preferred registration with a nationally recognized body (ASCP) • Previous experience in the field is a plus • Excellent attention to detail in operations • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a lab setting
