Full-Time Social Services Coordinator Position, Windsor

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of residents through social service initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and facilitating support programs, as well as conducting bereavement counseling. Your ability to build effective relationships with families, staff, and community agencies will be crucial in ensuring a supportive environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement effective social services programs • Provide bereavement counseling for residents and families • Organize and conduct Family Council meetings • Engage with placement agencies for resident onboarding • Analyze and improve resident satisfaction metrics

Requirements:• Diploma in social services or equivalent experience • Registered under the Social Work and Social Services Work Act • Experience in geriatric services preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Clear vulnerable sector check and recent TB results
