POSITION SUMMARY
TheProduction Supervisor’smain roleisto supervisethe extrusion department andcoordinateactivities of workers to manufacture a wide variety of custom extrusions. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Lead the shift and achieve desired results by affectively communication job expectations and taking ownership of team performance through planning, organizing, directing, monitoring, and appraising job results. Train and develop employees,identifyhigh-potential individuals,andrecommendcross-training opportunities within the team.Maintain quality service byestablishingand enforcingquality-related procedures,policiesand organization standards. Achieve daily scheduled production output as per plan. Anticipate risk and take corrective action in advance. Enforce policy and procedures by training, feedback, correctiveaction,and progressive discipline procedures as per the company policy.Manage the daily operation of all presses for maximum output. Collaborating effectively within the die shop, packing, maintenance, and quality departments to ensure production targets are consistently met. Identifynegative trends and intervene in advance to achieve output. Ensure presses are running at planned productivity and recovery.Ensure all daily and weekly tasks such as attendance taking,timecardsapprovals, quality checks, weekly JSP training, work order checklist etc., are completedin a timely manner. Implement cost reduction, levelsystemsandproceduresandinitiatea spirit of cooperation within and between departments. WHO YOU ARE
Supportive of all the shifts and departments within the Lakeshore Plants, fostering a collaborative environment. Motivatedtoassistemployees in achievingobjectivesthrough communication and feedback. Abilitytoidentifynegative trends and intervene in advance to achieve output. Experienced with EPCIS and ERP systems.Independent problem-solving skills with the ability to create and implement solutions. Ability to liaise with various functional departments and build an effective relationship. Experienced in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Leadership skills to drive and motivate the team to achieve targets.Ability to perform well in high pressure situations. Proficient inMicrosoftOffice Suite. Degreeordiploma ina relevant field (Engineering) preferred. WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
Ability to work 12hourscontinental shift schedule (Day&Night Shifts). Plant Environment. Exposure to loud noise. Overtime asrequired. COMPENSATION
Salary Rate $70,000- $90,000 based on experience. Eligible for overtime. WHAT WE OFFER
