Location: Windsor, Ontario
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt (Operations)

Compensation: $58,000 - $83,000
About The Role The Production Assistant role is an entry point for engineering graduates into plant operations and management. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in refinery or crushing operations, with opportunities to work across ADM’s diverse product lines and locations. This role provides exposure to plant leadership, troubleshooting, and continuous operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, progressing to full responsibility for a workgroup, often on rotating shifts within the first year.
What You’ll Do
Monitor production processes and equipment performance
Troubleshoot operational issues and support process improvements
Assist with equipment sizing, capacity planning, and process control systems
Support installation and modification of equipment
Supervise shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
Maintain records and address employee performance when required
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural preferred)
Working toward professional engineering designation (P.Eng.)
Strong problem‑solving and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, continuous operation environment
Working Conditions
Physically demanding (climbing, confined spaces, lifting)
Rotating shifts may be required
Must adhere to all safety and EHS standards
