Maintenance Technician at Mining Facility, Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Become essential to a mining facility's upkeep as a Maintenance Technician. Handle maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, custodial duties, and facility inspections, supporting safe operations.

This role involves performing regular maintenance, including carpentry, painting, and plumbing. You'll ensure cleanliness in restrooms, lunchrooms, and external areas. Furthermore, you'll inspect for malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs while enjoying a 14 days on/14 days off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform light maintenance tasks including drywall and plumbing repairs • Conduct routine inspections of the facility and structures • Clean and maintain restrooms, lunchrooms, and external areas • Handle ad-hoc repairs for windows, doors, and shelves • Complete work-related duties asassigned

Requirements:• Maintenance experience is essential • Valid Driver's license with a clean record • Ability to lift heavy objects and walk extensively • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills • Awareness of safe equipment use and site regulations
