We're looking for a sharp, dependable Operational Assistant to become a trusted hub of day‑to‑day logistical support at our 192 Condor Road office. This is the connective tissue that keeps our operation running smoothly: handling everything from flight scheduling and client communications to vehicle positioning and permit preparation.This is not a typical 9‑to‑5 desk job. Aviation moves fast, and so do we. The right person thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative without being asked twice, and brings genuine professionalism to every interaction. Requests may come in outside regular business hours or on non‑scheduled working days, flexibility and reliability are essential.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Welcome clients, staff, and visitors and maintain a friendly, organized office environment Answer phones, take messages, and respond to last‑minute requests and schedule changes in a timely, professional manner Coordinate day‑to‑day logistics for company personnel — scheduling flights, accommodations, and other travel needs — and keep all relevant parties informedSupport external logistics in collaboration with the Director of Operations, including fuel haul tracking, equipment transportation, and responding to maintenance and pilot requests Assist the DO in preparing client quotes Receive and ship items, run errands, and source supplies as needed Collect and enter data into Capital's flight management and training systems (Cirro, Aerostudies) as directedPrepare permits and file reports as required Shuttle and position vehicles within Whitehorse and to various community bases, with emphasis during the summer operational season Collaborate with the DO and President to maintain logistical continuity across management cross‑shift days throughout the 2026 summer season, including note‑taking, booking reviews, and supporting informationWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
Advanced English language proficiency (written and verbal) Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Valid Class 5 driver's licence Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure Excellent communication skills and a consistently professional, courteous mannerAbility to maintain strict confidentiality at all times (signing of an NDA is required upon acceptance of offer) Consistent punctuality and reliability Strong Assets
Background in operations, logistics, or a related field Familiarity with aviation, helicopters, or non‑scheduled transportation roles Comfort working independently and adapting quickly to changing priorities COMPENSATION&ADVANTAGES
Hourly Rate $32.00 CAD/hr + OT eligibility Benefits: Extended health and dental Temporary Housing Available up to 2 months for relocating candidates Relocation Assistance Up to $3,000 CAD available if needed WORKING AT CAPITAL
