Yukon University Campus Life Coordinator, Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Become the Campus Life Coordinator for Housing at Yukon University’s Ayamdigut Campus. This full-time role is critical in enhancing student support and community engagement within residence life.

Your responsibilities will include mentoring students while ensuring a safe and inclusive living environment. You'll handle crises, promote wellness, and coordinate with various campus departments to support student needs. This position not only focuses on individual student success but also contributes to broader initiatives of reconciliation and belonging.

Key Responsibilities:• Mentor residents on personal, social, and academic issues • Address conflicts and respond to emergencies effectively • Review and uphold housing policies for a compliant environment • Collaborate on logistics for room assignments and occupancy • Implement programs for intercultural understanding and wellness

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in humanities or related areas • 1–3 years in residential life or youth support • Experience in coaching or mentoring student leaders • Solid understanding of restorative practices and mental health • Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills
