Product Backlog– Epics and User Story Development
Prioritize and consistently groom the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Define, refine, and prioritize Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria to provide the development team with clear, actionable tasks that meet the Definition of Done. Collaborate with stakeholders and the development squad to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and align sprint work with product vision.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear and consistent communication of product goals and progress. Gather and prioritize stakeholder requirements, feedback, and expectations, integrating them into the product backlog. Maintain oversight of sprints and initiatives, communicating impediments and successes to the governance board, and advocating for change management and continuous improvement.
Sprint Planning and Review
Lead and facilitate sprint planning meetings, ensuring the team understands the highest‑priority items and has clear direction for the upcoming sprint. Review sprint progress during sprint reviews, gathering feedback from the team and stakeholders to adjust priorities and refine the backlog.
Product Launch and Sales/Marketing Support
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute comprehensive product launch plans. Provide product expertise and support, assist with marketing materials, sales enablement tools, and training sessions to communicate product features and benefits.
Qualifications
Deep domain expertise in financial services and banking, with strong understanding of industry regulations, market trends, and customer needs. Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards. Experience with FinTech solutions, including digital banking, payments, lending, or core banking systems.Familiarity with software development practices and technologies. Demonstrated success utilizing Agile program management, estimation, and delivery methodologies. Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and the Microsoft 365 product suite. Strong business sense and ability to align product decisions with overall company strategy.Understanding of applicable metrics that ensure product profitability and cost‑effectiveness. Deep understanding of customer behavior and requirements to drive user‑centric product development. Demonstrated leadership in guiding and influencing cross‑functional teams without direct authority.Experience in leading product development from concept to launch. Strong decision‑making skills and ownership of product outcomes. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and end‑users. Facilitation skills for meetings and workshops. Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve product‑related issues.Data‑driven decision‑making and effective prioritization.
