Security Site Supervisor

Pay Rate:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Shifts:
Monday - Friday
Shift Timing:
0800 - 1600
Responsibilities
Supervise daily security operations and act as primary liaison between client and management, ensuring compliance with all procedures and post orders.
Lead, coach, and support security staff, including scheduling, training, and on-the-floor guidance.
Enforce access control protocols, including screening staff, contractors, and visitors.
Conduct and oversee patrols to identify risks, hazards, and suspicious activity.
Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and address security concerns.
Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing direction to staff and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
Assess situations, make real-time decisions, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
Deter theft and loss through proactive supervision and enforcement of security procedures.
Complete detailed incident reports and ensure accurate documentation and log maintenance.
Requirements
Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
First Aid and CPR certification.
1-2 years of experience working in security.
5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor, managing a minimum 10 employees.
Preferably ex-military or loss prevention experience in high-theft locations.
Previous experience in logistics environments and/or operating metal detectors preferred.
Experience in critical environments where decision making and actions can impact life‑safety and business continuity.
Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
