Heavy Duty Mechanic (Full time)— Private Paradise Location: Whitby, ON Company: Private Paradise (Luxury Landscape Construction&Maintenance) We don’t run a scrapyard - we run a high-performance operation. What You’ll Be Responsible For

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a mixed fleet: Trucks (light&medium duty), Trailers, Loaders, Skid steers, mini excavators, cranes, and small equipment. Preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime. Troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems. Managing service schedules and maintenance logs. Coordinating major repairs and parts ordering.Keeping the shop organized, clean, and productive. Supporting crews with urgent field repairs when needed. Operating loaders&forklifts: loading trucks, unloading, screening topsoil. Washing and cleaning equipment. What We’re Looking For

3+ years experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic. Welding&Fabrication skills. Strong diagnostic skills (not just parts swapping). Experience with construction or landscape equipment (preferred). Own tools (basic set required). Valid driver’s license (AR/AZ/DZ is a bonus). Accountable, reliable, and takes ownership.
