General Teaching Assistant Whitby
£14.24 – £16 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Full-time or part-time available
Contract: Temporary with potential for permanent
We’re working with a welcoming and supportive school in Whitby to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant. This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly school community and support pupils across the classroom.
About the Role You’ll be supporting teachers and pupils across a range of year groups, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the classroom
Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed
Assist with classroom organisation and resources
Help maintain a positive and structured environment
Support pupils’ academic and personal development
