Logistics Assistant for Peak Shipping Season, West Kelowna

Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Assistant during the busy shipping season from March 30 to August 14, 2026. Help manage logistics communications and streamline inventory operations to keep shipments moving efficiently.

This full-time, 4.5-month contract role is essential for ensuring smooth logistics operations. You will regularly communicate with freight suppliers, customers, and sales staff while managing cart and pallet pick-ups at customer locations. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you ensure that drivers have accurate documentation and that Proof of Deliveries are filed correctly.

Key Responsibilities:• Communicate frequently with logistics companies and customers • Facilitate cart/pallet pick-ups at various locations • Ensure accurate and organized shipping documentation • Confirm that Proof of Deliveries are filed correctly • Support the Labelling department and Inventory Coordinator

Requirements:• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficiency in Excel and Dynamics • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and work outdoors • Willingness to adapt in a fast-moving environment • Experience in logistics or inventory management
