We are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join our team in West Kelowna. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials, consumables, and services required to support production.
The position will own purchasing execution, supplier relationships, ERP data accuracy, and cost optimization initiatives, ensuring materials are available on time and aligned with production requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who understands manufacturing purchasing and supply chain coordination, but is equally motivated to improve processes, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive operational efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage purchasing of materials, consumables, and outsourced services
Lead supplier communication to ensure on-time delivery and performance
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to support cost savings
Generate and manage purchase orders within the ERP system
Ensure accuracy of ERP data including pricing, lead times, and inventory levels
Track and follow up on purchase orders to meet production timelines
Coordinate with production, engineering, and inventory teams on requirements
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve purchasing workflows
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or related experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience using ERP systems (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with internal teams
Self-starter who can improve processes, build supplier relationships, and support operational efficiency
