This program prepares scientifically‑inclined individuals for a technical career in environmental protection. Students learn to collect, document, and analyze water, air, and soil samples within the context of local watersheds and regulations. Graduates are equipped for varied roles in industry, government, or conservation, workingboth outdoors and in labs to monitor waste streams, document ecosystems, and conduct environmental site assessments.

Program Specific Requirements

Physical fitness: Students must tolerate physical activity such as walking over uneven terrain, standing, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment.

Transportation: Students are responsible for their own transportation to complete program requirements which may not be readily accessible by public transportation.
