The Role The Wealth Sales Representative is accountable for providing highly effective sales support to key Members of our Wealth Management Team in order to help them achieve their performance and sales goals by providing an excellent Member experience while maintaining high standards and operational efficiencies. By providing best in class contact management, pre‑sale and post‑sale practice support to support the achievement of Wealth’s annual plan objectives for Net Sales, revenue and new Investments. While effectively mitigating compliance risks that are detrimental to our Members, Meridian’s brand and overall business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Contacting Member to book appointment that aligns to the Advisors meeting type ie: annual/quarterly review, discovery, financial planning.
Engage the Member in a robust conversation to uncover Member needs while proactively identifying opportunities that lead to an enhanced Member and Advisor experience.
Reconnect with Member to remind them of the appointment and recommend pertinent documentation to bring to meeting that supports the Advisor recommendations.
WSR is the first point of contact for Wealth Members when Advisor is not available. This ensures this HVC always receives a live person to connect with.
Enhanced proactive account oversight to ensure Member information is up to date and consistent on both MCU and CS/CSI platforms.
Provides consistent robust Member Portfolio snapshot that includes detailed supplemental documents that illustrates MCU and Wealth assets.
Efficient first‑time right document preparation within SLA for all Member/Advisor meetings.
Create and provide reporting to support the Advisors compliance requirements.
Financial planning information capture to expedite the Financial planning recommendation.
Receive and Q/A all completed documents after the Member has signed to ensure accuracy and completeness which expedites the sales experience.
Follow up with external partner and/or fund companies on trades, transfers, account set up and payments to ensure requests are executed as presented.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree or Diploma in Business or equivalent working experience in Financial Services Industry.
Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFIC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset or willing to obtain.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in Financial Services Industry.

Salary Range $52,000
Office Location 1567 Niagara Stone Rd (This role requires on‑site 5 days a week)
