Community Activities Organiser, Georgian Bay South Shore (Angus)

Contract and Location 1 position, 28 hours, temporary to 3 March 2027.

This post will be based at Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Resource Centre in Arbroath and involve delivery of community groups across Angus.

Role Overview We are looking for a confident, innovative and collaborative Community Activities Organiser for the Angus area. You will establish a range of community activities and opportunities across the locality that fill identified gaps and meet the needs of people living with dementia and their families.

Key Skills&Qualities

Positive approach to dementia and ability to support people in times of difficulty or distress.

Flexible, inclusive, creative, and organised approach.

Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with individuals and groups.

Willingness to participate in relevant training and continue professional development.

A relevant qualification and previous experience of working with people with dementia is an advantage.

Requirements

A full and valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle during working time.

Subject to a criminal check through Disclosure Scotland.
