Early Childhood Educator Assistant Victoria BC

We are hiring an Early Childhood Educator Assistant in Victoria, BC, Canada, to support young children's development through hands-on learning experiences. This full-time role requires on-site commitment and a dedication to nurturing.

As a key member of our child-care team, you will assist in creating and implementing child-care programs to promote children's health and well-being. With a focus on developmental assessment, you’ll interact with infants and toddlers, providing essential care and engaging them in creative activities. This position also involves record-keeping and collaborating with co-workers and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop learning plans based on children's needs • Assist in housekeeping and meal preparation • Engage children through storytelling and crafts • Maintain daycare equipment and environment • Observe children and communicate with parents

Requirements:• College/CEGEP education or equivalent • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate • First Aid Certificate • Excellent communication skills • Ability to maintain a supportive team atmosphere
