High Rise Lead Hand Electrical Mentor, Victoria

Join OZZ Electric BC as a Lead Hand, instrumental in high-rise construction. This position focuses on installing electrical systems while mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment.

We are hiring for our Vancouver Island projects, where you'll lead the installation of electrical equipment based on blueprints. Your role will involve mentoring both apprentices and Journeypersons, ensuring compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code, and maintaining safety practices on site. Leverage your experience in high-rise and commercial projects to enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities:• Install electrical equipment following design specifications • Identify hazards and recommend adjustments for equipment • Oversee field training for apprentices and Journeypersons • Develop and manage safety documentation and protocols • Lead safety discussions and incident investigations

Requirements:• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification required • Proven experience with high-rise and commercial installations • In-depth knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code regulations • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Field Safety Representative certification is advantageous
