Temporary Education Assistant Role, Victoria

Be a key player as a Temporary Education Assistant from September to June, aiding students with disabilities and learning needs. Your role will help modify their educational experience.

To succeed in this position, you need a Secondary school graduation or equivalent along with relevant certification or experience. A minimum of three months of child-focused experience is necessary, as well as an understanding of developmental processes. Your ability to communicate and adapt educational content will help students flourish.

Key Responsibilities:• Participate in developing Individual Education Plan goals • Supervise students on playground and during transitions • Assist with classroom activities and personal care needs • Implement strategies for social inclusion and self-regulation • Document and report student behaviors and safety concerns

Requirements:• Secondary school graduation or equivalent certification • Education Assistant Certification or equivalent experience • Experience working with children for at least three months • Knowledge of Individual Education Plans an asset • Basic proficiency in computer applications
