Hours are estimated to be:

32 hours per week

Expected salary range:

$36,000-38,000 per year (based on 32 hour week)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our teams in

Victoria, British Columbia.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in achieving overall profitability, smooth operation of the shop as well as providing leadership and effective management to the retail staff.

This position is an excellent opportunity to build on your career in retail while selling our award-winning chocolate products and premium ice cream. Your success will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment.

This is a permanent fulltime position that requires open availability for all types of shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).

You will be a good fit if you are:

Passionate about chocolate and have at least two years of management/supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment

Self-motivated and driven for results, enthusiastic about selling a quality product

Dedicated to providing a great customer experience

Energetic and enjoy meeting new people

Excited about working with a team and building a career and growing within Purdys Chocolatier
