LifeLabs is looking for a Laboratory Assistant to bolster its Victoria Communities Team. This is a part-time position with a range of shifts available from Monday to Saturday. Your focus will be on assisting patients during specimen collection and ensuring compliance with testing procedures while maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:• Greet patients and describe specimen collection • Execute phlebotomies and related tests • Collect samples for special testing and document accurately • Manage client inquiries and follow-up communications • Prepare specimens for testing and transportation

Requirements:• Completed Medical Laboratory Assistant program or related experience • Training in phlebotomy or healthcare is a plus • Proficient in data entry and record keeping • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Understanding and commitment to patient privacy
