York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a YRES Fun Fair Booth Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing.

Location Ventura Public School, 121 Worth Blvd, Thornhill, ON L4J 7V5

Shift 4:00 PM-8:10 PM

Responsibilities

Arriving independently to the event on‑time and in professional attire

Confidently greeting and conversing with visitors at our booth

Facilitate Lego robotics workshop activities to individual learning levels

Helping count, set‑up and take down inventory items that were brought

Providing feedback on the event

Qualifications

Able to independently arrive to work on time

Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn

Can commit to scheduled time of the shift

Fluency in English

Highly organized, detail‑orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
