York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada’s Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a YRES Fun Fair Booth Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who lovessocializing.

Responsibilities

Arrive independently to the event on time and in professional attire.

Confidently greet and converse with visitors at our booth.

Facilitate LEGO robotics workshop activities to individual learning levels.

Help count, set up, and take down inventory items that are brought.

Provide feedback on the event.

Shift: 5:00 PM – 8:10 PM.

Qualifications

Able to arrive independently to work on time.

Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn.

Can commit to the scheduled time of the shift.

Fluency in English.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
