The Therapy Assistant will work under the guidance of qualified Occupational and Physiotherapists. In this inpatient role, you'll assist in implementing treatment plans for patients while maintaining continuous communication about their progress. Your expertise in patient care will help our team provide effective therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities:• Assist in treatment plans for hospital patients • Perform prescribed therapies like gait training and exercises • Deliver engaging exercise classes for individuals or groups • Set up and maintain therapy gym equipment • Communicate changes or concerns about patient status
Requirements:• Completed OTA/PTA Diploma • At least 1-year inpatient experience preferred • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and safety protocols • Ability to work both independently and in a team • BLS certification and current immunization records
