Senior Financial Analyst at GESI, Vaughan

GESI is searching for an analytical professional to handle core financial tasks at our corporate office. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will execute full-cycle accounting, manage lease accounting under IFRS 16, and maintain strong internal controls. Your role will also involve preparing monthly consolidations and overseeing extensive balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:• Execute full-cycle corporate ledger accounting • Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting and tracking • Reconcile intercompany transactions accurately • Prepare monthly financial consolidations • Design standardized accrual processes for month-end

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA designation or actively pursuing it • 4-6+ years of general ledger accounting experience • Strong knowledge of IFRS and complex reconciliations • Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel
