Product Assistant (Contract)

in our Beauty&Home Care division reporting to the Director, Product Management. This is a 14 month contract position for a maternity leave. Support the Product, Marketing, and other internal teams with product development activities, plans, and projects in all channels including new product launches, promotional events, product line reviews, market analysis, presentations, and customer events. Develop, plan, and coordinate product launches, promotions, and materials.Evaluate and monitor the performance of marketing activities and make recommendations. Develop customer-specific materials, product literature, and merchandising tools. Coordinate sample requests and product information for marketing and sales presentations. Conduct research on product trends, industry trends, and market position.Provide accurate and timely information to the Sales and Marketing teams to support sales promotions, product launches, and marketing campaigns. Prepare, edit and maintain reports, dashboards, KPI summaries, and analysis for product, account, and divisional performance. Act as a liaison between the Marketing team and external partners / agencies.Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Post secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business or related field of study. Minimum 2 - 3 years related experience, preferably within the consumer packaged goods or retail industry. Experience in the beauty industry an asset. Strong organizing and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong sense of urgency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to think and work independently and with initiative in a dynamic team environment.Ability to work well cross functionally and collaboratively. Quick learner. Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams; knowledge of SAP an asset. What we offer

Salary: $50,000 - 60,000. Salary will depend on several factors including experience, skills, and capabilities. A collaborative culture that values growth, innovation, initiative, and ownership.
