Commercial Finance Analyst (Sales) . This exciting role is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic, world‑class Consumer Packaged Goods and Dairy Manufacturing company.

About The Role Reporting to the VP Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of accurate and relevant financial sales information to support planning and decision‑making. You will bring strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail, providing insights on volume, mix, and pricing while supporting core financial processes across the organization. Working closely with Sales, Finance and cross‑functional teams, you will help drive performance, improve processes and strengthen data integrity.

Analyze sales performance through monthly variance analyses, including Sales Contribution by Customer Business Team, and report on key drivers versus forecast and prior year

Monitor data quality within SAP Business Warehouse by validating master data integrity and identifying potential issues

Support process optimisation initiatives within the sales and finance space, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

Develop and maintain reports and KPIs for the Sales organisation using SAP and Business Warehouse data

Support Sales by setting up and maintaining customer rebate programmes in SAP, validating post‑audit rebate claims, and investigating underfunded rebates

Assist with the price increase process, including preparing templates and supporting pricing uploads into SAP

Perform and maintain account reconciliations (e.g. accrued rebates, prepayments, agent commissions, trade spend accruals), including analysis and validation of balances

Manage annual agent commission setup and ongoing maintenance, including preparation of monthly broker commission reports

Participate in the forecasting process and provide analytical support

Assist with external audit requirements and requests

Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business needs

Act as a Finance Subject Matter Expert for systems, including supporting training, testing and system enhancements

Lead Finance involvement in New Product Development, including post‑launch profitability analysis, costing reviews and maintaining financial tracking tools

Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, including daily sales reporting, sales rep trackers, customer reporting, credit notes tracking and discount tracking

Prepare monthly Statistics Canada pricing reports

Support annual stewardship reporting requirements

Who Are You? You are a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on partnering with Sales teams to drive performance and better business decisions. You bring a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and a passion for translating financial data into clear, actionable insights that support growth. You have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar finance role, with strong proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, along with Business Warehouse and/or Power BI. You combine strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to influence and support cross‑functional stakeholders, particularly within Sales. Highly organised and detail‑oriented, you are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. A post‑secondary degree or diploma in Finance or Accounting is required, along with completion of an Accounting designation.

What We Offer The compensation range for this role is $82,000 – $90,000, and this posting is for a current vacancy.
