About the Role As a Supervisor– Pallet Production, you’ll work directly on the shop floor, helping to oversee a crew of 12–15 employees building new pallets. You'll be hands‑on every day — driving a forklift, coordinating workflow, and supporting the Production Manager to keep operations running smoothly.
Shift : Monday–Friday, 11:00am to 8:00pm
Overtime&Weekend Work : Available as needed
Forklift experience and license are REQUIRED and will be tested
What you will do
Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished pallets
Supervise a production crew of 20-30 employees across the day and evening shifts, keeping them motivated and on task
Coordinate the flow of work across stations to meet tight deadlines
Schedule jobs based on inventory needs and outgoing shipments
Help plan and execute daily raw material cutting lists
Monitor employee productivity and provide coaching when needed
Perform regular quality checks to ensure pallet standards are met
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Track production data and support reporting to management
Communicate with the day shift to ensure a smooth transition
Help troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements
What You Bring to the Table
2+ years forklift experience
(license required)
2+ years in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs and working in a noisy environment
Quick‑thinking and confident in making on‑the‑spot decisions
Flexible and open to schedule changes or last‑minute priorities
Bonus if you have
Experience with running manufacturing equipment and pneumatic tools or saws
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the scheduling process
