Description
York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada’s Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a YRES LEGO Fair Booth Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing.
Responsibilities
Arriving independently to the event on-time and in professional attire
Confidently greeting and conversing with visitors at our booth
Facilitate Lego robotics workshop activities to individual learning levels
Helping count, set-up and take down inventory items that were brought
Providing feedback on the event
Location St. Joseph the Worker CES, 475 Brownridge Dr, Thornhill, ON L4J 5Y6
Date&Time Thursday, May 28, 5:30PM-8:30PM
Shift 4:30PM-8:40PM

Who We’re Looking For
Minimum age: 12
Able to independently arrive to work on time
Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn
Can commit to scheduled time of the shift
Fluency in English
Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
