Sr. Technical Program Manager, Prime Tech, Vancouver

Sr. Technical Program Manager, Prime Tech Amazon Prime TPM is a cross‑functional team of Technical Program Managers responsible for running large technology initiatives across Prime Acquisition, Payments, CXE, International Expansion and supporting variants that deliver best‑in‑class experiences to customers. This role is for a Sr. Technical Program Manager todrive highly visible, high‑value initiatives that shape the next generation of Amazon Prime.

Key Job Responsibilities

Guard world‑class customer experience for deliverables, continuously raising the bar on functionality, flow, consistency, usability, and simplicity.

Act as interface between product owners and the development team, understanding the product, defining user stories, and evaluating technical solutions to meet business requirements.

Own engagement with partners, decomposing requirements into technical execution plans with multiple development teams, tracking progress toward goals, and reporting status to product, business development, and technical leadership.

Make feature trade‑offs to ship software without compromising customer experience and business relevance.

Engage with many other teams, evangelizing the project, building relationships, and identifying existing components and technologies that can be leveraged to deliver on goals.

Represent the technical team to senior leadership across the company.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.

5+ years of technical product or program management experience.

3+ years of software development experience.

5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.

Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical‑path management.

Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
