This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting meals ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and appearance. You will also supervise junior team members, guiding them in food preparation and maintaining safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:• Cook and present meals according to provided standards • Ensure quality and consistency in meal preparation • Manage food stock for security and waste reduction • Support and direct junior culinary staff • Maintain safety and hygiene in the kitchen
Requirements:• Three years of experience in a culinary environment • Completed high school with a goal to achieve the Inter-Provincial Trade Qualifications • Certifications needed: Food Safe Level I, WHMIS • Hepatitis A vaccination encouraged • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to30 lbs
