Job Overview
We are hiring an Investly Business Development Associate to support our team in delivering high‑quality user acquisition, retention, and product feedback. This is a full‑time, hybrid role that requires current work authorization for Canada. Responsibilities
Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities with local organizations, clubs, and events aligned to business goals; build a roadmap of regional initiatives to raise awareness of Investly and support sales targets. Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, and Dealer Compliance to ensure all events meet company guidelines.Gather and analyze regional market trends and user data to inform strategy; assess qualitative feedback from prospects and clients and input insights into the CRM system. Use approved in‑house AI tools to discover insights into sales tactics and adjust strategy accordingly; collaborate with Growth, Finance, and Digital Client Experience to validate and share regular reports on activities, outcomes, and opportunities.Support sales initiatives by prospecting new relationships, following up with clients, performing outbound sales calls and emails, and coordinating meetings with prospective clients and partners. Deliver best‑in‑class client support, respond to inquiries within SLAs, and provide market updates.Create and support marketing materials for in‑person and virtual client meetings. Determine creative, high‑quality client events; research venues, negotiate pricing, manage invitations and RSVPs, and host events as needed. Present on Personal Finance, Investing 101, and budgeting basics to enhance client engagement.Demonstrate a deep understanding of Investly’s brand, articulate its value proposition versus competitors, and engage customers on the brand. Collect and capture prospective and current client feedback to improve engagement with the app; maintain social media presence within Fidelity guidelines.Meet or exceed monthly target metrics. Qualifications
Completion of a university degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum one year of experience in financial services, preferably in sales or customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and active listening skills with the ability to interact with a range of personalities.Team‑player who can also work independently. Ability to understand customer needs, explain product features/benefits, and influence decisions with strong presentation skills. Experience with upselling and cross‑selling techniques. Organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing demands.Data‑driven approach; able to analyze and act on regional metrics. Strong computer skills in MS Office and experience with a CRM tool such as Salesforce. Must have current work authorization for Canada. Benefits
Base Salary ranging from $59,000–$71,000 annually, plus a discretionary performance bonus. RRSP contribution after six months of employment (no employee matching required). Full‑coverage employer‑paid health benefits starting on the first day of employment. Parental leave top‑up to 100% of salary for 25 weeks.Up to $650 for home office equipment. Generous time‑off policy, including two paid days per year to volunteer. Access to extensive professional development, including courses, tuition reimbursement, and rewards for completing required designations.
