Purpose of Position: To maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition and carry out maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Crew Chief or a licensed engineer, carry out inspections, dismantle and assemble aircraft systems for repair and/or overhaul of aircraft systems and its components on company aircraft.

Learn and understand troubleshooting aircraft defects and carry out corrective action as required.

Carry out maintenance duties on company aircraft.

Report on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft.

Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with company requirements and Transport Canada regulations.

Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, the safety of co‑workers and customers.

Key Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Transport Canada‑approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) program.

Transport Canada accreditation.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).

Valid Canadian‑issued driver’s license with no restrictions or conditions.

Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Vehicle Operator Permit (AVOP).

Line aircraft maintenance experience is considered an asset.

Legal working authority in Canada is required.

Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, are required.
