The Design Coordinator plays a critical role in facilitating collaboration and coordination between the Project, BIM, and sub-trades. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the integration of design information and virtual construction processes throughout the pre-construction phase. The Design Coordinator will work closely with the project team and consultant teams to ensure construction milestones are delivered to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities

Complete project design coordination with oversight from Senior Design Managers. Coordinate requirements of internal and external stakeholders and communicate project requirements to the group efficiently and effectively. Facilitate the integration of design information into virtual construction models and systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compatibility with project requirements.Take detailed notes and create agendas and minutes for meetings and break-out sessions. Clearly and concisely mark up drawings in Revizto or PDFs to show issues to all affected parties. Update Revizto and review the most current set of drawings for issues and clashes. Skills&Experience

2+ years of experience in a design or project coordination role, ideally within the residential construction industry. Educational background in design, architecture, or construction management. Foundational construction knowledge, including understanding of project delivery is an asset. Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications, including identifying inconsistencies and clashes.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with consultants, project managers, and site teams to resolve design issues. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information. Highly collaborative, with a team-oriented mindset. Resilient and adaptable in managing ambiguity and shifting priorities.Your Rewards
