Your Role and Responsibilities
User-Centered Design Storytelling: Apply design thinking principles to craft compelling visual and written storytelling narratives that clearly communicate ideas, experiences and value.
Design&Prototyping: Use design and AI-enabled tools to create innovative presentations, prototypes, and illustrative demos.
Visual Craftsmanship: Create polished, high-impact visual artifacts to convey complex solutions and concepts with clarity, structure and visual hierarchy.
Accessibility&Usability: Incorporate inclusive design principles (e.g., WCAG standards) in visual work.
Collaboration: Work closely with experienced designers, developers, and stakeholders to refine designs, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly within a fast-paced environment.
Scalability&Consistency: Assist in maintaining and evolving design systems and component libraries for storytelling artifacts, ensuring cohesive, reusable assets&narratives across practice initiatives.
This position resides in Toronto and is a 4-month work term commencing in September 2026. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term. MBA and PhD candidates are not eligible for this program.
Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Figma (for UI/UX Design).
Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) for asset creation.
Keynote + PowerPoint for crafting compelling presentations.
Strong grasp of typography, colour theory, and layout principles to create visually appealing designs.
Understanding of design patterns and UI frameworks to maintain consistency across products.
Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS) is a plus but not required.
Awareness of design thinking methodologies and user-centered design approaches.
