Your Future Role on Our Team BBA is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our team at the Québec City office. You’ll be responsible for planning, managing and executing projects or project components effectively, while ensuring quality and meeting client expectations. You’ll need to understand the client's objectives, prepare proposals for the services required to achieve those objectives, and oversee and carry out the required activities, i.e. site data analysis, landscape design, construction plans and specifications, cost estimates, technical support during calls for tenders, construction oversight and final project approval.

Lead landscape studies and multidisciplinary projects by engaging with all stakeholders
Work with various engineering and environmental disciplines to deliver quality projects
Manage projects (schedules, budgets, quality, OHS, compliance with regulations and client requirements)
Train team members in specific areas (landscape studies, human environments, visual assessments and integration of future facilities into surrounding areas, visual simulation, etc.)
Support department members in acquiring expertise in landscape studies, human environments, visual assessments and integration
Review and ensure project compliance, including concepts, plans, construction drawings and any other documents, before submitting them to clients
Review reports, the applied methodology, the relevance of analysis and results
Follow up with clients during project execution
Sign and seal project documents and send them to clients
Maintain strong client relationships

Summary of Certifications and Job Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture
Over 10 years of experience in similar positions
Member of the Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec (AAPQ)
Expertise in urban, recreational and natural design as well as landscape and environmental impact assessments
Excellent written and spoken communication skills (for public presentations, municipal hearings, BAPE, AEIC)
Autonomy, versatility, creativity and initiative
Strong interest in environmental and social issues
Project management skills and ability to manage several projects at once
Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
