Community Occupational Therapist Role, West Durham Regional Municipality (Sunderland)

Join CAR as an independent contractor, working part-time or full-time based on your preference. You'll apply your clinical expertise in community settings, conducting assessments and creating tailored intervention plans that enhance client independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:• Deliver occupational therapy directly in clients' homes • Assess needs using a range of standardized tools • Create and monitor individualized intervention strategies • Supervise occupational therapy assistants as needed • Complete professional documentation in accordance with standards

Requirements:• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario • Independent work experience in a community environment • Excellent documentation and communication skills • Valid G or G2 driver’s license • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and clinical software
