Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within our warehouse or production facility. The successful candidate will ensure productive material handling while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.Key Responsibilities
Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to transport goods and materials throughout the facility. Efficiently load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring accurate placement and organization. Assist in inventory management by accurately counting and tracking items as they move in and out of storage.Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe lifting techniques. Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor. Maintain accurate records of materials handled, movements, and any discrepancies observed during operations.Qualifications
Must have Valid Forklift License. Must have minimum 1 year forklift driving experience. Ability to work alone or within a team environment. Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding workplace. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Shift Details
Rotating Schedule Hours (every 2 weeks) We operate Mon-Fri on a 2-week rotating shift pattern of three shifts, which includes: Days 7:30am to 3:30pm Afternoons 3:30pm to 11:30pm Nights 11:30pm to 7:30am Controlled Goods Program Requirements
Must be either a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen. Must have worked in Canada the last 5+ years. Must have not left Canada for more than 6 months in the last 5 years. Must be willing to pass a clean criminal background. Job Type
